Almond Tree House Garden
Almond Tree House Garden

An old 60’s holiday cottage, built within an almond orchard in one of the villages of Serra da Arrábida, is adapted to a permanent home, becoming an opportunity to revive the garden. The grid of old almond trees, which has given the property its name, is enlarged, thereby creating various environments around the house. To the northwest, the space around the pool is adorned with a lusher edge that maintains its attraction throughout spring and summer; to the northeast, beneath the shade of an old laurel tree, a small, fresh living space is built for hot days; to the south, the outdoor dining area, hosts the client’s plant collection in a more diversified garden, that extends to the vegetable garden and an old vine.
